National Dessert Day
No one seems to know why, but
In a nice display of fortuitous timing, my friend who works in the alumni office at Tufts invited me to an event tonight that will have desserts provided by the Danish Pastry House, which from my experience has delectable baked goods.

It's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it! With blogs like ours, dedicated to desserts, we had to post about National Dessert Day and National Dessert Month. There's lots of other dessert related dates all through the month of October too. Have fun! ;-)
